The foundations of the unique MMA approach lie in the development of the core techniques that form the basis of moves across the six key ranges of Weaponry, Kicking, Punching, Trapping, Throwing and Grappling. MMA students are then gradually guided through seamlessly blending these ranges together, taking influences from many different styles in order to create their own individual expression of combat - rather than simply replicating existing styles. The MMA philosophy is about coaching rather than instruction and most MMA training is partner based - providing plenty of opportunity for students to work with different people and energies.
We encourage students of all ages to define their own goals - whether developing specific technical skills, increasing self protection, getting fit, achieving healthy weight loss or improving overall well-being.
We then coach students towards achieving their personal goals - encouraging them to push themselves mentally and physically and promoting increased self-discipline, self-confidence and self-respect.
