I am a 3rd dan in American Kenpo Karate and have been a practitioner of various martial arts for approx 25 yrs. Coming from a background of Law Enforcement and Door Supervision I realised that there was so much more to learn and that Kenpo did not have the answers to my questions. I began attending seminars of so called top instructors and up until meeting Pete Miller only 2 stood out for me, Guru Dan Inosanto (JKD) and Guru Maul Mornie (Silat Suffian Bela Diri).

That I should put his ability in such company is a measure of the impact that Pete had on me when I first met him. Within 2 minutes of training with him it was very evident that this was no ordinary Martial Artist. His ability and knowledge in all disciplines of combat, grappling, boxing, Panantukan, Wing Chun, Thai boxing, Silat, Kali and knowledge of weaponry (stick & knife) was mind blowing. His practical and technical ability is also world class and his delivery of instruction matches this.

Since our first meeting I have become a student of Pete. I am also getting the answers to my questions and beginning to enhance my attributes, skills and knowledge.

He is a humble man and until now has been a hidden gem, after the launch of Millers Martial Arts this will no longer be the case. I strongly urge any serious Martial Artist to make the effort to train with this guy he is truly awesome.

I wanted to send you a quick note to say how much we all enjoyed the seminar and your open and enthusiastic approach to martial arts. Without exception all of my students thoroughly enjoyed the day and are already looking forward to your next visit. From my point of view as an instructor the seminar has given me some excellent drills to take away and develop in our own Dojo. Would you also please pass on my thanks to your students who attended and teamed up with my club members; I look forward to training with them and you again soon.

Pete Miller taught me pretty much everything I know when it comes to defending myself and taking and dishing out pain. The knowledge he's imparted has saved my skin on several occasions, he's fun and easy to learn from and his deadliness is matched only by his niceness. He's British martial arts best kept secret.

Top class instructor with bags and bags of knowledge. Skills that match or better those of well known martial art stars. I have over 30 years of martial arts experience and Pete stands out from all the people I've met as a complete all round martial arts practitioner - weapons, ground and stand-up - all first class.

One thing I've wanted to say about Pete is the fact that I knew he was shit hot at what he does the day I met him. Why? Well, despite hearing such good things about him from Frank (How good he was, how much he trained etc.) When he came around to catch up he just listened.

I shared my Taiji with him and Frank & Leo and not once was he like 'Oh but in 'my style' we do it like this.' He just listened, took it in and adapted!

He is seriously one of the most humble guys I've come across with this amount of skill. Sad to say, but very rare these days in the Martial Arts both in the East & West! Living in Japan I see 'teachers' with half Pete's skill but twice his ego!

If you are in the UK you should AT LEAST attend one of his seminars! He is a genuine guy and genuinely SHIT HOT at what he does!

Now you have the proof (the video)! Much Respects Pete, Awesome stuff mate! Really hope to catch up next time I'm in the UK :-)

I am a long term Martial Artist with over 30 years time in training. My personal preference is Wing Chun which I teach in the lineage of Grand Master Samuel Kwok but also have an interest in short knife and stick fighting skills which Pete is superbly gifted in teaching.

I've known and been friends with Pete Miller for well over 10 years and can attest to his skills as a martial artist as well as the time and dedication he has invested in developing the high level of ability in weapons and at boxing, kicking and grappling ranges.

As a coach he is genuinely interested in his students and getting the best from them. His friendly open nature makes him an ideal instructor for new and seasoned students, interested in Mixed Martial Arts, Cross-Training or skills at a number of different ranges.

Sensei Neil Hazell

My name is Neil Hazell, I am a 5th degree black-belt in American Kenpo, and I have been training for 25 years. I had the pleasure and indeed fortune to meet Pete about a year ago and having been in his presence for a short time, realised that: 1 - he was a very humble individual, and 2 - that he is an exceptional martial artist.

It was apparent that he started with natural ability, but through hard work and a lot of dedication and study has covered a multitude of arts involving weapons, kicking, punching, trapping, throwing and grappling and has made these into an art which is very effective at all ranges. This has made him the most rounded martial artist I have ever met.

He is also a very good coach and a technician, which enables him to bring out the best in his students. I would recommend that anyone who is serious about being effective in combat meet and train with him. I feel you won't be disappointed. I am proud to have him as a friend and coach.
